Chorley Mills is a Heritage Lottery funded project to record and preserve memories for future generations of working lives in the last cotton mills of Chorley, Lancashire.

In 2017, we recorded interviews with people who had worked in the mills of Chorley from the 1930s to the 1990s. We also collected objects, photographs and documents which can be seen throughout this site. many fascinating stories can be heard in the edited interviews which can also be downloaded.

We have created an education pack for schools. Download it here.
